In Canada 6 people arrested for running prostitution ring

6 people have been arrested in Canada on the suspicion of running a prostitution ring involving no fewer than 500 women, BBC reports.
The women are reportedly smuggled into the country  illegally through the Canadian land border with the United States or airports, sometimes using visas "obtained through false pretences", with the majority of the alleged victims coming from China and South Korea.
The women are believed to have been  brought to Canada by a criminal gang and were forced into prostitution in a number of cities, including Montreal and Toronto.
2 more suspects are reportedly being hunted by police detectives.
Meanwhile,  data from computers and mobile phones seized during the operation are currently being examined, in the hope of identifying the victims and their clients.
