Despite being wanted for fraud, Maina allegedly got SSS, police protection - Report .

- A leading newsoutlet reports that despite being on the run after being declared wanted by the EFCC for alleged corruption, the fugitive was provided federal security cover - The SSS also allegedly provided an accommodation for him - Maina’s controversial $2 million house in Jabi, Abuja, was also sad to be guarded by the police In a new twist to the scandal that followed reinstatement of former chairman of the Presidential Task Force on Pension Reform, Abdulrasheed Maina, new reports have it that despite being on the run after being declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged corruption, the fugitive was provided federal security cover.
 Maina is said to have received protection from operatives of the Nigeria Police Force and the State Security Service, SSS while the SSS allegedly provided an accommodation for him, Premium Times reports.  Maina is currently at large and did not report to duties on Monday at the Ministry of Interior where he was recently posted to. EFCC spokesperson Wilson Uwujaren, said the agency was intensifying its search for Maina. 
The media outlet learnt that all the while, Maina was being provided guards by the SSS. A safe house in Maitama, allegedly belonging to the SSS, was also provided for his use. The SSS does not have a known spokesperson to respond to this story. The director general of the SSS, Lawal Daura, and a director in the service, identified as Bassey, did not respond to multiple calls, Premium Times reports. 
The news outlet also reported that Maina’s controversial $2 million house in Jabi, Abuja, was guarded by the police. The operative was said to have been posted there from the Maitama police division. The FCT Police spokesperson, Anjuguri Manzah, said he was not aware of the posting, but promised to find out and get back to the news outlet but as at the time of filing this report, he was yet to do so.Transview news had reported that Abdulrasheed Maina, wanted former chairman of the Presidential Task Team (PRTT) on Pension Reforms, was allegedly reinstated by President Muhammadu Buhari's administration.

New FIFA rule might force Nigeria to pay England for Moses, others

Nigeria might be forced to pay England for Victor Moses and other Super Eagles players if amended FIFA law sees the light of the day - The new law offers some sort of compensation to countries who lose players that have represented them at junior levels to other nations - Victor Moses, Ola Aina and Alex Iwobi have represented England at youth competitions Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is currently looking into several options in their bid to effect changes to the rules guiding players’ nationality switch after representing another country at junior level. Head of FIFA stakeholders committee, Victor Montagliani, confirmed they are looking into the rule, which currently forbids players who have played a competitive international for one team from switching to another national side even when they hold dual nationality. New FIFA rule might force Nigeria to pay England for Moses, others Already the Cape Verde football federation has proposed for the rule to be relaxed especially when the player has only featured in few games for his original side, but has no chance of earning a recall. The other option the Montagliani lead committee are looking at is a compensation scheme in cases where a player goes through the training system of one country and represents it at youth level before switching to another. Presently, Nigeria have three players who have represented England at youth level in Victor Moses, Alex Iwobi and Ola Aina representing in the Super Eagles, and if the new rule is approved, England could be entitled to some compensation from Nigeria

The move to end the marginalization of Oyo Central Senatorial district in the top echelon of the executive arm  Oyo state government receive a boost recently as a youth movement from Oke-ogun area of the state.                                                                                                               The Oyo North Integrity Forum in the Oyo North Senatorial District call for rotational arrangement by all political parties in the state from 2019 governorship election which should be based on senatorial district with fact that certain senatorial district has produced more governor than other since 1999 while a particular senatorial district is to have there own yet.
Speaking at a news conference in Saki the chairman of the group Comrade Adedeji Adeyemi stated that in the spirit of fairplay ,equity and social justice in the political  clime of Oyo state Political Restructing System(PRS) will santize  the polity in the state.                          
The group , a coalation of like-mind  without any political affiliation  that cut across the 13 local government in Oke-ogun enjoin political stakeholders to stepped down their various agitation and recognise the Oyo central senatorial district in the 2019 gubership race.                                                                                                                                                                                   Adeyemi however observed that since senatorial district are seen as the largest political delination after the state, politicans should in turn follow a good political arrangement in producing governors as it concerns the citizen of the stae
