CNN, citing the doctor, reported that an initial scan did not show any injury on the foot until a further examination was carried out.
"Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging.Dr. Kevin O'Connor said:
"Follow-up CT scan confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden's lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot. It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks
The Bidens have two dogs, Major and Champ, both German Shepherds.
They reportedly acquired their first dog, Champ after the 2008 election and adopted Major in 2018. The family said they’ll be bringing their dogs to the White House and also plan to get a cat.
In his reaction ,the president of the United States, Donald Trump has sent a get-well message to Joe Biden who fractured his foot while playing with his dog.
Trump’s message to the Democratic presidential candidate was conveyed in a tweet on Sunday night, November 29, shortly after Biden visited the hospital for treatment.
The president's reaction to Joe Biden's injury may come as a surprise to many who are not used to seeing his compassionate side.
Meanwhile, efforts by the Trump campaign to change the outcome of the US presidential election suffered another blow in a Federal Appeals Court on Friday, November 27.
According to CNN, the campaign's appeal alleging voting irregularities was denied by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals for lacking evidence.
