SECURITY:Moniya DPO Wants More Support From Stakeholders

The quarterly Moniya Police Divisional Headquarters Security Stakeholders Meeting comes up recently at the Div.Hq Moniya lbadan.
Welcoming the stakeholders, the  DPO. Superintendent Aderemi Balogun briefs the stakeholders on the security reports in the area.
He confirmed some security break at Moniya and its environment but were repelled by his men and those arrested were referred to the State Anti Robbery Squad (SARS) for further investigations. Balogun therefore lauds the full supports from the PCRC. Traditional Rulers. Vigilante group and all stakeholders on the adequate
information.
He reiterates his Command efforts in reducing the crimes rate to zero level in the state and as well pledges full security protection for life's and properties during and after Easter  fiesta in his
Jurisdiction.
Adding,"his men are up to the tasks on any crimes that may want to use the area as there enclave or coven.
The DPO later share some security tips with the stakeholders. On the involvement of Traditional Council at the meeting and vandalizations of accident vehicles by hoodlums on the highway as complained by the Baale Oniroko of lroko. Superintendent Aderemi Balogun stated that his men are on regular surveillance on the
highways.
On the Herdsmen invading various farmlands in his jurisdiction the meeting however assigned the  Seriki  Fulani of Akinyele local government who also present at the stakeholders meeting with the responsibility and asked him to report back at the next meeting. DPO finally urge stakeholders not to relent their efforts until the
set goal is achieve..
Another meeting comes up in the second Thursdays of June 2016.

Kunmi Mustapha Challenges Gov.Ajimobi

Ex-Vice Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Oyo State and leader of the prty in Oke Ogun Alh.Kunmi Mustapha urge Oyo State Government to restructure its urbanization program so as not to
affect the much priced and cherished educational programs of previous administrations in the state.
Alh.Mustapha who was the chairperson at the Oke ogun PDP meeting recently held at Otu in Itesiwaju Local Government area of oyo state made the points exclusively with the TransviewMagazine.
He stated that APC led administration in oyo state has failed in all its programs.
According to him,"Education which suppose to be best legacy for our children is criminally neglected by APC led administration in the state'.
"Today our education standard is at its lowest ebb',he laments
Mustapha noted that 2nd term of Governor Abiola Ajimobi's administration have nothing good to offer the people than milking them through his extortion plans such as tenement levy and other irrelevant special taxes.He therefore challenge the Governor to come open and test his popularity by conducting the local government election.

It seems as if various problems befalling the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is yet over and might be a  problem if some issues fail to be resolved as soon as possible.
According to a release signed and made available to newsmen by the Director of Publicity.Research and Strategy of the party in the zone.Mallam Adebayo Muritala stated that leadership of the party in Oyo North Senatorial District may boycott the next state congress slated for April 24th 2016 if the state fail to absolve the grieved members who stepped aside during the last 2015 general elections or exclude them from the congress. Mallam Adebayo Muritala stated that the resolution was made at Otu in itesiwaju local government area of oyo state,in the release,the Oke-Ogun PDP members maintained there stand that they would not like a situation where erring members who want to retrace their steps are prevented from taking part in the congress."let all ours members who left during the last elections under various allegations partaining to of lack of internal democracy, enforcement of candidates on member etc; be allowed to be part of the state congress and warned that they 'will not be part of any stage-manage election style congress".
Present at the meeting are Senator Gbenga Babalola. Alh.Bashiru Hammed Laguda.Yakubu Ladoja. Alh. Sikiru Ikuogbogun.J S Amidu.Siju Lawal and Hon. Feyiniyi Oyetoro.
Others include Sunday Alabi.OK Salam A Ajinawo.Alh.Tunji Oyetoro and Madam Arewa.

CBN reacts to reports that they are illegally recruiting children of Atiku, Arase, others

The Central Bank of Nigeria has reacted to the public outcry of an illegal recruitment exercise allegedly carried out by the apex bank. Sahara Reporters on Tuesday March 15th, reported that the bank employed the children of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, IGP Solomon Arase and others to some key positions in the bank.

The list of beneficiaries of the CBN’s secret job recruitment includes a daughter of former Vice President Abubakar Atiku, a son of Mamman Daura, a nephew of President Buhari and one of the closest members of the president’s inner circle, a son of the Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, a daughter of former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Ghali Na’aba, also daughter of of the Inspector General of Police, Solomon Arase, a son of the Minister of Internal Affairs, Abdurahman Danbazzau and at least 86 others.

This report has sparked up public outcry as many believe that the bank should have publicized the job openings for many other people to to apply.

However in an interview with Premium Times yesterday March 16th, the CBN’s acting Director of Corporate Communications, Isaac Okorafor said the bank did nothing illegal or wrong in hiring without advertising.
“In the last two years, we have had cause to recruit specialists, and what the law says is that if we are going for that kind of recruitment we should apply for waiver, so that we can do targeted recruitment" He said the bank obtained waiver from the Federal Character Commission. “The other issue is that there are states that are not well represented (in the CBN), and in this case we focus on those states to recruits people of certain classes that we used to cover the shortfall in those states,”he said

Gunmen behead one, abduct another in Rivers

A 28 year old man simply identified as Ukeoma was killed and beheaded by unidentified gunmen this morning at Mgbuitanwo, in Emohua Clan, Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State, the home country of the Senatorial Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC in this Saturday’s rerun elections.

Another resident of the area was abducted by the gunmen as they fled the scene of the incident. This will be the second beheading that has taken place in Rivers state in the last two weeks.

The erudite lslamic scholar however call on all stakeholders to do the right things.
Corporate organizations,Religious groups and Nigeria elites must always channel their charity to the needies and the poor without discrimination.They should also involve in community development and
empowerment of the needies. Nigeria elites must be cultured into having passions and concern for
the needies.
Government must be rightly guided against corruption and people oriented programmes and projects execution must be given priorities and as well eradicate poverty in the society.
Africans must change their attitudes towards value laden neighborliness essence while media houses must adequately promotes value for people re-orientation,awareness and education for total homogenous rebranding

Security Break: AECF Frowns At Situation Worldwide

The security issues in the country must be the concerns of every Nigeria irrespective of their believe while there must be a synergy between government, security operatives-clerics on community security system.
Engr.Prof.Sabit Ariyo Adegoke JP. Founder, Spiritual Head/Grand Imam Shafaudeen In Islam Worldwide and the Ajagun Esin (Religious Warlord) made the comments at Ajagun Esin Consultative Forum 2016 annual conference  with the theme;Clerics and Community Security at lbadan.
Speaking on behalf of AECF, emphasis that the forum which is a united of Muslims Christians, Traditional believes, Media practitioners and the professionals on issues of non bias face and phase of ethnical practices are now out to unite peoples for a well orderly society for the sustainability of workable unity in diversity. Adding "AECF is not happy with security issues  in Nigeria and the world at large.'
Engr. Olagoke however emphasis that all house of worship must not be theoretically rhetorical only but must adequately ready to  inform and educate their congregation and as well  the public on contemporary issues. 
He suggests a dire need to re orientate the activities of the house of worship in order  to be relevant with the social upkeep of the people and government.
He finally call for harmonious working relationship among the three sensitive organs of the society which are the government, clerics and security operatives with tokens in recognition of service which must be justified through keeping the peace and ensuring community peace. He concluded.
