Former NBA stars join D’Tigers


Former NBA star, Olumide Oyedeji  and Ejike Ugboaja have joined up with the the national men’s basketball team, D’Tigers ahead of their FIBA –Africa Basketball Championship qualifier against Burkina Faso on Saturday, March 14.
Former  Seattle SuperSonics and Cleveland Cavaliers ballers join up with Coach Sani Ahmed's men to make them more formidable ahead of the qualifiers for both the FIBA tournament in Tunisia and the All Africa Games scheduled for Congo.
Spokesman of the national men's basketball team, Akinkunle Bolarinwa revealed to Pulse that the two highly experienced players were brought into the team to boost their mentality and make the dream of qualifying for the African Championship a reality.
Oyedeji and Ugboaja are in camp now training with the team but I can’t say much about their status. But I can assure that their coming have boosted the player's mentality and morale ahead f the match'”, Akinkunle Bolarinwa revealed.
The team is expected to depart Nigeria for Burkina Faso on Friday for the match scheduled for Saturday.
