With the just
concluded 2015 General elections in the country, appealed has gone to Nigerians
to rally round the incoming administration, not only that, all hands must be on
deck in the area of security.
Chief olaiya Babalola a.k.a koyewon , chairman police community
relation committee (PCRC) akinyele local government area dropped the hints at
the inauguration of conflicts resolution a disciplinary committee at the
moniya police divisional headquarters moniya in akinyele local government
council headquarters .
He stressed
that security of lives and properties should be a collective responsibility of
the citizenry irrespective of their creed or color which must not be left alone
to the government.
On the last
general elections, chief koyewon observed that operatives in Nigeria performed
creditably during and after the elections
; this according to him proved that with enabling environment and
logistics there is hope in our security system and operatives.
Chief koyewon
however commended the police service commission on the promotion of its rank
and file in the police and as well, congratulate
the new IGP .
He later
urged the new inaugurated committee to work within ambit of the law and
constitution of the PCRC.
He called
for more support for the Nigeria police from members nationwide.
