OYO State Speaker Lauds League of Veteran Journalists As The League Emphasize on Oversight Funnctions

The 8th Assembly in Oyo State will strive to do more legislative work that will promotes development of the state. Rt. Hon. Micheal Adesina Adeyemo Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly made the declaration while recieving in audience the executive members  League of Veteran Journalists Oyo State led by its chairman Alh.Kola Animasaun who paid him courtesy visit in his chamber at the house of assebly complex, state secretariat lbadan.

He observed that "without journalism profession,government activities will not easy to be publicize". the Rt.Hon.Speaker therefore lauds the League of Veteran Journalists for its steadfastness,adding,"continuity
should always be maintained to sustain professionalism'. The Speaker who feel delighted with the visit urge the league not to relent efforts on there notable contrbutions to the development of oyo state
and the nation. He commended the fatherly role in which they used to apply on there noble profession and pledged the house of assembly supports for the league.

Earlier in his address Alh.Kola Animasaun Chairman League of Veteran Journalists Oyo State urge the 8th Assembly to do there best in the performance of oversight functions and as well avoid politicizing
critical and topical issues. The chairman described members of the league as credible personalities
who have made thier marks in the journalism profession before
retirement  He finally congratulated the speaker.
