Veteran Journalist Eniowo Segun Omilabu Gandhi has been described as an accomplished professional who was committed to his calling while in active service.  Eminent dignitries who graced the 70th birthday celebration of the media icon at his Apapa ,moniya country home on saturday recently,took turn to eulogizes the glowing virtue of the septugenarian. Comrade Wale Adele state chairman league of veteran journalists Oyo State described Omilabu Gandhi as man who always eager  to impact knowledge to the younger generation of journalists and as been a stronger pillar of the league of veteran journalist in the state.He said the celebrant as exhibited high level of professinalism with honest and intergrity during his over 50years experience in the profession.The occassion was marked with lecture delivered by renown Eminent Islamic scholar and theologian the founder and spiritual head Shafaudeen in islam worldwide.Prof Sabit Ariyo Olagoke (Jp) Represented by Ustaz Ibrahim Adediran a Counsellor at the National Open University of Nigeria and member of Shafaudeen Organization in the Lecture  titled PARADOX OF A GREAT  NATION NIGERIA AND UNWARRANTED RELIGION CONTROVERSY. Prof Olagoke urged Nigerians to shun religious bigotry and hate speeches particularly at this period where the unity of the country is been threatened by insurgence .Threat of succession and insecurity.He also calls for the restructuring of the country and as well revisit the 2014 National Conference report for sustainable development of the country."Let us Equally Realize That no religion can be funtional without functional Education and that the duo Religious and  Education are the driving engines for effective political partcipation and dispensation ."he concluded.
