Adesuwa Osayaren, a Nigerian lady has emerged has the winner of the 2018 Miss Nations of the World pageantry. The final competition took place on the night of Saturday, August 11.
The young lady who was also announced as the best contestant during interviews, was crowned winner of the pageant out of eleven contestants. She is now the 2018 Miss Nations of the World.
Miss Vietnam was the fourth runner up, Miss USA was the third runner up, Miss Tajikistan was the second runner up and the first runner up was Miss Rwanda.
It was gathered that Osayaren had also represented Nigeria and won at Miss Africa Arizona pageant nine months ago.
In an interview with ABC, Gloria Mensah, the c-founder of the Miss Nations of the World competition, expressed that the competition is a platform for international women to succeed.
Mensah said: “The Miss Nations of the World is a pageant that not only provides a platform for international women to succeed but it also creates an opportunity for people to be tolerant of each other’s diversity."
Pageantry began in Nigeria a long time ago in 1957. It began with the first woman to be crowned Miss Nigeria Grace Atinuke Oyelude.
