Rev. Peter Omofoye chairman Oyo State Police Community Relations Committee ( PCRC.)made the observation during the inauguration of Apata Area Command PCRC.
Given credit to Oyo State Police Commissioner Abiodun Odude for is roles in rebranding both PCRC. and Community Policing and formation of six more area command to make it ten in numbers in the state with objectives mission of bringing police to the door steps of the people in the state he call for synergy within the operatives .
He emphasized that collective responsiblity of the stakeholders in area of intelligence gathering will go along way in fighting various crimes.
Omofoye while reiterating the PCRC commitment towards the promotion of security values,enjoin the police to always uphold truth with integrity and remains resolute in the cause of their legitimate duties.
He therefore tasks stakeholders to rendered there utmost assistance for the operatives most especially the police in the area of intelligence gathering.
He finally charged PCRC nationwide not to give any chances for the miscreants in their various divisions.
Earlier the area commander ACP. Francis Ojomo while appreciating PCRC for unflinching commitments for the police,sue for regular intelligence gathering from the stakeholders.
Ojomo call for more collaboration with the police this according to him will make the work easy.
The Apata Area Command PCRC chairman chief Fatola pledges his Exco members commitments towards the upgrade of the police stressing that they will works together in the area command as a team.
