The heads of various security agencies in the country met with the leadership of the House of Representatives behind closed doors.
The meeting presided over by the deputy Speaker, Ahmed Wase began at about 2:15 pm on Monday, November 16.

Those present at the meeting include top officials representing the Defence Headquarters, Nigerian Army, Nigeria Air Force, Nigerian Navy, Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps, Nigerian Immigration Service, Nigerian Correctional Service, among others.
The meeting is coming on the heels of rising security challenges, especially in the northern part of the country.
Journalists and others were sent out of the venue as the meeting was about to begin.
